About me

I strive to increase my breadth of knowledge, taking courses and trying projects in the fields of Machine learning, Data analytics, Web development, Game Development, App Development, Robotics, and Software Engineering. As an undergraduate, I resolved to step outside my comfort zone, joining various hackathons, data science competitions, business case challenges and even cybersecurity capture the flag competitions to learn more about various technologies while searching for my niche.

I am adaptable, having taken up the role of Teaching Assistant in NUS and Vice Project Director in Computing Club despite the challenges posed during the COVID period and my lack of prior experience. I have previously volunteered as a peer tutor, and have joined NUS SIC looking to make a difference and help others. I look forward to honing my skills and make a bigger impact on society.

Work Experience

My work as a teaching assistant required me to have a solid grasp on the content of the module, as well as the ability to effectively communicate this information with my students. My job involved guiding my students and being ready to answer any questions they throw at me, whilst ensuring that no one in my group fell behind. Encouraging the weaker students and providing supplementary learning resources for the faster students was a fun and fulfilling experience and I'm glad I decided to take on the role despite having been quite introverted in the past.
